These terms govern your use of the vertara.app website and your purchase and use of Vertara Radar ("the Software"). The Software is published by Ferbu Tech (Ken Ove Ferbu), Norway — contact [email protected].
Vertara Radar is self-hostable, source-available software that checks whether AI assistants cite your website when people ask buying questions. It runs on your own machine; nothing is hosted by us. You bring your own API keys (e.g. OpenRouter) and pay those providers directly for your own usage.
The Software ships under two licenses:
The commercial license is a one-time purchase per company. It is perpetual, grants the legal right to use the Software commercially, and activates "commercial mode" (removes the non-commercial notice). One license key activates a limited number of machines and can be re-bound. All product features are identical in both modes — the commercial license is a legal right, not a feature unlock.
Commercial licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, issues your invoice and handles VAT/sales tax. Your license key is delivered by email after purchase. The price shown at checkout is the full price.
Every feature of Vertara Radar is available free of charge for personal and evaluation use before you purchase — the free tier is the trial. Because you can fully evaluate the Software first, commercial license purchases are generally non-refundable. Checkout, payment disputes and any refund handling are managed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, and nothing in these terms limits rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.
You may not use the Software to break the law, to probe or scrape services in violation of their terms, or to misrepresent the Software's output. The Software reports what AI assistants answered at a point in time; you are responsible for how you use and present those results.
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. AI-assistant answers change over time and are outside our control; we do not warrant any particular ranking, citation or business outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change and material changes will be noted on this page. These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with ordinary Norwegian courts as venue.
